My apartment is coming along. I'm hoping to have some photos posted soon to show you my sweet bachelorette pad. How can you beat dark pink carpet and light purple walls? Oh, and let me mention that when I was placing my microwave cart, it rolled across the kitchen — lovely. So now, it's door stopped into place.
I do like living in this small little town. I live in a very old building above a Rent-A-Center and a Hallmark. It's nice to be able to walk and be close to things. The town could stand to have a few more cooler shops and restaurants, but I'll live for now :)
My job is going well too. The people I work with are great and I really enjoy working on a campus. I've attended a couple of tailgates and went to my first football game last weekend. It's crazy to be around so many people who are all about Penn state and 'bleed blue and white' yadda yadda yadda. I'm not used to that aspect yet.
I got in trouble for wearing a red hat to the game since Penn State played Ohio State. I went out and bought a Penn State sweatshirt and it didn't even matter — the red hat ruined it. Don't blame me for the loss — I took the hat off and as soon as I did, Ohio State scored. You wouldn't want me to have that kind of power anyway.
